Mawella Beach Bungalows was a boutique collection of beachside bungalows designed and built by Formline Properties on Sri Lanka's stunning Tangalle coast - one of the island's most beautiful and least-commercialised stretches of Indian Ocean shoreline.
The development combined direct beach access with tropical architectural design and the strong short-term rental fundamentals that have come to define every Formline project. Set on Mawella Beach in Tangalle - known for its calm waters, nesting turtles, and tranquil atmosphere - the bungalows were designed as both personal retreats and high-performing holiday rentals.
Tangalle sits on Sri Lanka's southern coast, approximately 190km south of Colombo and 60km east of Galle Fort.
